"Jobah" What the Longlure Frogfish,( Antennarius multiocellatus) lacks in mobility he (or she) makes up for with ingenuity. A frogfish swims poorly (more like a hop) so it plants itself in a sponge or on a rock and waits for his meal, dangling the long white lure to attract his next dinner. This frogfish was found in Dominica,Windward Isles on Castle Comfort reef.
"African Leopard" After nearly a day of tracking we finally came upon our leopard. While his poise and supposed growl is what I wanted, I actually snapped the shot when the leopard was yawning.
"African Leopard Sepia"
"Elephant Watering Hole" A lot of elephant images always show the immense size of the elephant. Upon leaving our bush camp at Jao I got the opportunity to photograph these elephants at a new watering hole from our plane which gave an interesting perspective not often seen.
"One fish, two fish, red fish.." One lone red fish in a school of goatfish on the "Wreck of the Chikuzen", Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands. The Chikuzen is situated 12 miles NW of Virgin Gorda surrounded by miles of sand, making it a "fish magnet" since it is the only place for marine life to congregate nearby. It's open ocean location, swells and surge can make the dive challenging but the rewards are well worth it.
"Grr-rrr!" A Great Barracuda up close at "Hector's Run" a dive site off of Guanaja, Bay Islands, Honduras. This particular specimen was approx. 4 feet in length.
