Abstracts
"Colour is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment." -Claude Monet
Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Autumn Drifters
Shot in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park this autumn composition was a lot of fun finding and photographing. Finding a beautiful red and yellow leaf submerged underwater in one of the clearest pebble ridden creek bed was a stroke of luck. Sometimes it pays to be lucky.
