Abstracts
"Colour is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment." -Claude Monet
Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Painted Hills
This shot was taken just outside the Georgia O’ Keefe Ghost Ranch area in Abiquiu, New Mexico. That being said I thought it was an appropriate title and a nice nod to Ms. O’ Keeffe.
