Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Conception
The growth of a reef begins with life. To capture an image of a coral spawn requires a lot of planning, a lot of luck, and then all the stars, moon, and planets lining up. Here is my image of a coral spawn on a shallow Caribbean reef
