"Colour is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment." -Claude Monet
Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Emerald Lady
The Art of Light in Nature Photography
Citico Creek Wilderness is a 16000 acre area within the Cherokee National Forest.
My cohort and I were very fortunate to capture a wonderful array of natural light permeating the meadow wildflowers and glimmering through the various creek beds which were exasperated with electric greens, blues, and yellows on this particular early brisk May morning.
“Golden Lady” was born out of this venture.
