Abstracts
"Colour is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment." -Claude Monet
Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Mesmerized
Mesmerized is an abstract, soft focus look at sea, sand, waves, and coastline. The play on light in the waters reveals something different upon every view. My Pacific Northwest excursion along the Oregon coastline last year is an adventure that I will not soon forget. In some ways the trip revitalized my passion for photography, in other ways it gave me new visions of where my art might continue to grow
