Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Rolling On
Today light, color and shapes play pivotal roles in my photography and natural world abstracts . I needed a portion of the creek with clear water and some reflection of blue sky, while the remainder of creek bed was blurred with a wondrous assortment of autumn leaf color and the pebbles in the creek floor.
