The Sand Pebbles

During early spring in the Citico Creek Wilderness, a 16000 acre area within the Cherokee National Forest, Tennessee I came across this stunning green, gold, and blue creek area electrified by the early morning filtered light streaming through the tree canopies. Watching the flickering sun spears find their way through the tree canopy and dance around the ripples of water and the colored pebbles of the creek bed was mesmerizing. After nearly an hour of continuous shooting, "The Sand Pebbles” was born.
