Abstracts
"Colour is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment." -Claude Monet
Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. My impressionistic abstracts are original, raw art, using photography as the medium. The image is captured within a split second where light and motion are constantly changing and evolving.

Surf's Up
Most of my nature imagery is a microcosm of a subject so that folks emotionally relate to the photography regardless of where they live. I thought it would be fun to shoot a full raging white water creek bed in the Citico National Forest in such a way that it might appear as large ocean surf.
